Work closely with business to help define business requirements and recommend alternatives to assist in presenting the best options for users. This is an agile environment which requires the role to be flexible, self-driven and collaborative. **DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Collaborates with business stakeholders, subject matter experts and engineering teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient data models. + Designs and develops high quality, user-friendly data analytics products including standardized reports, self-serve data extracts and dashboards that provide timely and accurate insights to stakeholders. + Creates interactive and visually appealing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Google Looker, Power BI, or similar tools. + Performs data analysis and identifies trends, patterns, and insights to support decision-making and analytics development processes. + Provides feedback, accurate estimates, and updates to ensure proper tracking for active sprints/projects + Partners with data engineering and data governance teams to develop semantic datasets to improve analytics development cycle. + Optimizes and fine-tunes SQL queries and database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing. + Implements data governance and security measures to ensure data accuracy, privacy, and compliance with regulatory and company requirements. + Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate BI solutions into existing systems and applications. + Monitors performance against defined goals.
