## About the Role

* 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including a track record of delivering large-scale distributed systems in production
 * Expertise in backend development with Go, Python, or Java, and deep familiarity with cloud-native architecture (Kafka, Postgres, Kubernetes, or equivalents)
 * Strong instincts for correctness-critical systems - idempotency, reconciliation, and reasoning carefully about failure modes when money is at stake
 * Demonstrated ownership of ambiguous, cross-functional projects, with the judgment to make tradeoffs and drive alignment
 * Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction beyond your own projects
 * Working knowledge of blockchain fundamentals - EVM, smart contracts, wallets, on-chain settlement - or a strong appetite to go deep quickly
