## About the Role

Active TS/SCI clearance.
CCNA certification.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+.
Ability to work 100% onsite in the Laurel, Maryland area on day shift.
What We're Looking For
You'll be a strong fit if you bring substantial enterprise routing and switching experience, including hands-on Cisco networking and experience with technologies such as OSPF, BGP, RIP, VLANs, 802.1Q trunking, inter-VLAN routing, spanning-tree protocols, and EtherChannel/LACP.
The role also calls for experience supporting firewalls, VPNs, secure remote access, and enterprise network security; planning or designing network architecture; independently troubleshooting complex network problems; and working with DoD/DISA STIGs and secure network environments.
We're looking for someone comfortable operating independently with minimal supervision and taking ownership of challenging technical work.
Especially Valuable
Existing CI polygraph is strongly preferred. Qualified candidates with an active TS/SCI who require CI-poly processing may still be considered.
Experience with Juniper EX/QFX switching.
Experience with Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto, or Juniper SRX firewalls.
Deeper experience implementing DoD/DISA STIGs and network security hardening.
Network modeling, analysis, or capacity-planning experience.
Experience supporting network modernization or evaluating emerging network technologies.
Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other network or support personnel.

## Description

Antero Technology Services is looking for a Senior Network Administrator who can take meaningful technical ownership of secure enterprise network environments. This is a hands-on senior role that combines network operations with engineering, design, advanced troubleshooting, security, and modernization-giving you the opportunity to solve complex network problems while also helping shape network improvements.
What You'll Do
Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and secure remote-access solutions.
Design and build network environments, contributing to network topology, architecture, segmentation, configuration, and implementation.
Support enterprise routing and switching across Cisco and Juniper environments, including dynamic routing, Layer 2 switching, VLANs, trunking, inter-VLAN routing, spanning-tree technologies, and link aggregation.
Configure and support network security capabilities, including access controls, firewalls, VPNs, security hardening, and DoD/DISA security baselines.
Diagnose complex network problems, perform root-cause analysis, and improve network availability, reliability, performance, and security.
Contribute to network analysis, capacity planning, modernization, and evaluation of network upgrades and emerging technologies.
Serve as a senior technical resource, providing guidance and mentorship to other technical personnel as appropriate.
