## Description

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Science Manager in Long Island City, NY., We are seeking a Data Science Manager to lead the development of advanced machine learning and optimization solutions that drive critical business decisions. This role combines data science leadership, operations research, product delivery, and stakeholder collaboration to solve complex operational challenges through predictive modeling, optimization, and workflow automation.

Duties Include:

 * Lead and mentor a team of data scientists while providing technical direction and best practices
 * Design and deploy machine learning and optimization models in production environments
 * Partner with business stakeholders to translate complex operational challenges into scalable data-driven solutions
 * Drive the development of data products and decision-support applications from concept through delivery
 * Communicate insights, recommendations, and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences
 * Help establish the long-term vision, processes, and standards for a growing data science organization
