## About the Role

In addition to network administration responsibilities, this position provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for end users and participates in the on-call rotation. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with excellent communication, can work independently, and is comfortable explaining technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences., * 3+ years of experience administering enterprise network environments.

 * Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, switching, VLANs, routing, DHCP, DNS, wireless networking, and VPN technologies.
\n

 * Experience administering enterprise firewalls, switches, and wireless infrastructure.
\n

 * Experience troubleshooting network connectivity, performance, and security issues.
\n

 * Experience working with ISPs, vendors, and technical support organizations.
\n

 * Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
\n

 * Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and see projects through to completion.
\n

 * Help desk or end-user support experience.
\n

 * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience with FortiGate firewalls.

Experience with Ruckus switches and wireless access points.

Experience supporting multi-site environments.

Experience with network monitoring and management platforms.

CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE/FCP, or similar industry certification., Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in network closets, ceilings, and other technology infrastructure spaces.

## Description

MidPoint Technology Group is seeking a Network Administrator to manage and support our network infrastructure across multiple office locations. This role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, security, and performance of our switching, wireless, firewall, and WAN environments. The Network Administrator will lead network deployments for new and relocated offices, serve as the primary technical point of contact for network-related issues, and work closely with vendors, service providers, and our outside network engineering partner., This position requires occasional evening and weekend work to support maintenance windows and planned network changes.
