Consultancy or client-facing experience is a plus, but not essential. You'll need to be comfortable communicating with clients and working across different technical environments.

We're working with a growing technology consultancy in Madrid that is expanding its engineering team due to increasing demand from clients across a range of industries.

This is a client-facing Software Engineering role where you'll work on different projects, technologies and business problems rather than being tied to a single product or stack.

You'll work closely with both client and internal teams to understand problems, design solutions and build production software from the ground up.

What you'll do

 * Design, build and deliver production software
 * Work across APIs, backend services and application architecture
 * Collaborate directly with clients and technical stakeholders
 * Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
 * Work across different technologies, languages and frameworks
 * Take ownership throughout the full software development lifecycle
 * Help clients improve existing systems and approaches
