## About the Role

* Strong data expertise, with hands-on experience building data pipelines.
 * Strong SQL skills and practical Python experience.
 * Experience supporting and managing data software platforms.
 * Experience with data observability, data quality and performance management.
 * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Desirable experience:

 * Familiarity with Snowflake, Talend, Matillion, ThoughtSpot, Power BI and/or Ataccama.
 * Linux and Terraform.

## Description

Devonshire Hayes is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to help build and improve data observability, data quality and platform capabilities, enabling data engineering teams to deliver reliable, efficient pipelines., * Build out a data observability platform to provide tracking, control, operational monitoring and visibility across end-to-end data pipelines and data usage.

 * Develop reusable data quality components and frameworks to identify, investigate and resolve data quality issues.
 * Monitor and optimise Snowflake performance and costs.
 * Create reusable components and frameworks to support data engineering teams.
 * Support and manage data platforms, including Snowflake, Talend, Matillion, ThoughtSpot, Power BI and Ataccama.
