## Description

Day to Day:
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Software Engineer Lead to sit fully onsite at Scoff AFB. They will design, develop, deploy, and support mission-critical software applications in Linux-based environments, with a strong focus on Python development. This individual will lead REST API development, JSON parsing and validation, and troubleshoot complex application and system issues. In addition to hands-on development, they will provide day-to-day technical leadership, including mentoring and developing engineers, conducting code reviews, coordinating team priorities, and ensuring work is completed accurately and on schedule. They will serve as a technical escalation point, help remove roadblocks, establish development best practices, and guide architecture and design decisions. This person will also collaborate with cross-functional teams using Git and Bitbucket for source code management and release activities, while ensuring solutions align with customer requirements and
program objectives.
