## About the Role

Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer who enjoys solving technical problems and helping people get the most from their technology?, You ll be organised, approachable and confident supporting users with different levels of technical knowledge. You ll enjoy troubleshooting, take ownership of issues and communicate clearly throughout., * At least three years experience in IT and application support, including two years providing second-line support.

 * Strong practical knowledge of Active Directory administration, Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
 * Experience maintaining and troubleshooting laptop hardware.
 * Confidence using a ticket-based helpdesk system.
 * Experience supporting video conferencing and meeting room equipment.
 * Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.

You ll also be interested in exploring how automation and AI can improve support processes and everyday working practices.
Useful additional experience

Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:

 * Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Entra ID.
 * Apple iPhone and iOS support.
 * Power Automate.
 * Software testing.
 * ITIL practices.

## Description

An established professional services firm is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join its IT Services team in Bristol. You ll support colleagues across Microsoft 365, business applications and workplace technology, combining day-to-day troubleshooting with opportunities to improve systems and processes.
The role

You ll provide responsive, customer-focused support across hardware, software and user accounts, helping colleagues work effectively and keeping support requests moving through to resolution.

Your responsibilities will include:

 * Managing helpdesk tickets, investigating issues and keeping users informed.
 * Supporting Windows 11 laptops, docking stations, monitors and peripherals.
 * Troubleshooting Microsoft 365 applications and internal business systems.
 * Administering Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID accounts, including joiners and leavers.
 * Managing Exchange Online distribution lists and Microsoft Teams groups.
 * Supporting corporate iPhones and access to business resources on personal devices.
 * Investigating network connectivity and meeting room technology issues.
 * Maintaining accurate IT asset records and delivering IT inductions.
 * Assisting with equipment deployments, office projects and technology upgrades.
 * Providing initial investigation of issues affecting automated processes.
 * Maintaining helpdesk categories and supporting phishing awareness tools.
