Kubernetes SME - Platform/DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes, AKS, Prometheus, Grafana, Terraform, Helm, Azure - Financial Services

Must have: Kubernetes SME, Prometheus/Thanos/Grafana/Elasticsearch, cloud platform experience, Financial Services experience

Our client requires a Kubernetes SME to support a major transformation of its IT infrastructure, delivering platform solutions across on-premises, hybrid and Azure environments. Deep Kubernetes expertise is essential; Azure experience is a bonus, but a basic knowledge or a strong desire to learn is fine.

You'll be:

 * Designing, building and running Kubernetes environments (AKS, Docker, Helm)
 * Operating observability tooling (Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, Elasticsearch)
 * Provisioning with Terraform and managing configuration with Ansible
 * Running CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions
 * Supporting Azure infrastructure and hybrid networking
 * Implementing platform security, including access control and encryption
 * Automating with Python, Bash and PowerShell
 * Taking part in on-call and production support rotations

Required: Kubernetes (SME level), Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, Elasticsearch, cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS or GCP), Docker, Helm, Financial Services

Desirable: Azure/AKS, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD), GitOps, policy-as-code (Checkov, OPA)
