## About the Role

* University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a comparable field
 * 7+ years in strategy or management consulting, ideally with a top-tier or internal consulting firm, covering overarching business transformation strategy development and rollouts or M&A transactions and due diligences, including experience leading workstreams in large transformation programs
 * Expert knowledge of AI and generative AI (GenAI) frameworks, daily use of AI tools in your own work and the ability to advise clients on AI adoption for successful business transformation
 * Proven expertise in strategy development, business planning and large-scale transformation programs, together with target operating model design, business process improvement, program and project governance, business case development and organizational design
 * Experience in insurance or financial services is ideal, combined with the ability to grasp complex business models quickly
 * Strong structuring and analytical skills, strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset
 * Confidence in advising and presenting to senior executives and in steering stakeholders across countries and functions
 * Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Nice to have

 * MBA or comparable postgraduate degree
 * Experience in corporate transformation programs
 * Experience in highly complex, international environments
 * Certifications in process improvement or program management (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, PMP, agile frameworks)
 * Additional languages, in particular German, Spanish, Italian and French

## Description

* Deliver complex strategic and transformation projects that reshape how Allianz operates, from strategic rationale, business case and financial modeling (including for potential acquisitions) to new operating models, leveraging your experience in strategy consulting and large-scale transformation programs and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and measurable outcomes
 * Set up and run project governance, including steering committees, delivery and impact reporting, risk and dependency management, executive status updates and board presentations for senior management
 * Manage client relationships, provide guidance to junior colleagues and execute on project deliverables, timelines and day-to-day operations
 * Report directly to the Engagement Manager, ensuring transparency on progress, risks and dependencies, and proactively provide clarity and action plans, anticipating potential pain points and addressing them before they escalate
 * Analyze business needs through external benchmarking, selected due diligence and research on industry trends and market conditions, identify improvement opportunities across the insurance value chain and their top-down impact, and design innovative solutions that enhance business processes, operating models and digital capabilities
 * Drive thought leadership by contributing to pitches, developing solution concepts and identifying new opportunities for value creation
 * Coach and mentor junior consultants, fostering capability development and a high-performance culture
 * Ensure effective stakeholder management and maintain strong client partnerships throughout project lifecycles
