## About the Role

We have an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical foundation and demonstrate practical application in systems engineering, MBSE, and mission engineering. Successful candidates possess strong analytical and hands-on engineering skills, systems-level thinking, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions to complex warfighter challenges., * Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)

 * 5+ years MBSE experience in support of DoD/Joint projects.
 * Demonstrated ability to execute complex system-of-systems analysis efforts.
 * Experience with DoD operations, concepts, and technologies and their supporting sensors, effectors, and networks.
 * Proficient in developing SysML and/or UAF models within Cameo Enterprise Architecture.
 * Familiarity with managing MBSE models in Teamwork Cloud environment.
 * Ability to travel 10% of the time.
 * Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an Active DoD Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Familiarity with DOORS requirement management tool and connecting to Cameo models.
 * Experience with programing languages such as Python, MATLAB, or Java.
 * Experience supporting DoW programs involving IAMD, JTIFC, BMC2, or Joint All-Domain Operations.
 * Experience with architectural frameworks such as the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) or Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
 * Knowledge of IAMD mission threads, sensor-to-shooter integration, track management, sensor fusion, Threat Evaluation and Weapon Assignment (TEWA), engagement planning, and kill chain analysis.

## Description

* Provide support to multiple MBSE projects for the US Air Force and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
 * Use MBSE tools and techniques to support requirements development, system design, and the development of use cases for selected systems.
 * Develop, maintain, and assess architectures using SysML, UAFML, or other relevant languages.
 * Create system models using government reference architecture and data models to facilitate interoperability.
 * Implement and manage system architectures in a digital engineering environment accessible to multidisciplinary team.
 * Develop and evaluate systems using standardized measures of performance and effectiveness.
 * Provide engineering level input to system models under development.
 * Review and create/update system requirements, specifications and technical documentation using a model centric approach.
 * Participate in periodic program reviews and technical presentations to Government stakeholders.
 * Prepare technical documentation, engineering analyses, models, reports, and other contractual deliverables.
