## About the Role

* A proven understanding of Agile software development methodologies
 * Appreciation for and alignment to standard methodologies regarding object-oriented design, coding standards, RESTful service development and integration, common design patterns, secure application development, and test coverage
 * Familiarity with design patterns and microservices architecture
 * Active interest in new technology and emerging engineering practices
 * Proficiency with server-side/mid-tier languages, frameworks, libraries, and related technologies (e.g. Java, Spring Boot)
 * Proficiency in developing containerized applications using Docker on Kubernetes
 * Proficiency with API Gateway management and orchestration using technologies such as Stratum or Apigee
 * Experience with client-side languages, libraries, and frameworks (e.g. Angular/TypeScript, Node, NPM, HTML/CSS, RxJS)
 * Familiarity with non-functional application requirement and technologies to support
 * Strong background in unit testing and/or API testing
 * Experience with deployments, data integrations, CI/CD such as Jenkins Core
 * Experience in requirements gathering, solution architecture, and end-to-end delivery of business applications
 * Experience with AWS (ex: EC2, ELB, VPCs, EKS, Serverless) is preferred
