## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
 * 3-5 years of hands-on experience administering and engineering solutions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including provisioning and scaling cloud resources
 * Strong background in containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
 * Experience providing services in a multitenant OCI environment
 * Experience with the Oracle DoD Realm of OCI
 * Experience with Cloud One's use of OCI
 * Active Secret security clearance
 * Current CompTIA Security+ certification, or one of the following DoD 8570 Baseline-approved certifications: CISSP, CCNA, CAP, CASP+ CE, CCISO, CND, CSSLP, CySA+, GSLC, or SSCP

Preferred Qualifications

 * Familiarity with integrating various OCI services
 * Experience managing cloud-based databases and leveraging Oracle Data Safe for security monitoring
 * Exposure to cost optimization strategies within cloud platforms
 * Experience collaborating with vendor support teams (e.g., Oracle Cloud support)
 * Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD-adjacent workflows
 * Experience with high-availability architecture and database performance optimization

## Description

* Design, implement, and manage solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to meet business and technical requirements
 * Lead containerization initiatives and manage containerized workloads within OCI
 * Oversee the deployment, configuration, and optimization of OCI services
 * Administer and maintain cloud-based databases, ensuring high availability and performance
 * Implement and manage Oracle Data Safe for data security and compliance
 * Serve as the primary liaison to Oracle Cloud support for issue resolution and service optimization
 * Analyze and optimize OCI cost models to ensure efficient cloud resource utilization
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud solutions and support ongoing cloud operations, * Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) administration
 * Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS)
 * Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)
 * DevOps alignment (CI/CD-adjacent skillset)

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience.
