This position is a full-time opportunity located in the greater **Washington, DC** area.
Battelle's Infrastructure Safety and Security (ISS) business is pursuing a high-profile support program for a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) client.
The scope of this program includes a full spectrum of research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) support.

The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving computer and network software and specialized utilities based on user needs.
This role applies computer science, engineering, and mathematical principles to build and enhance software solutions, and may involve collaboration with hardware engineers to integrate systems and define performance specifications. **Responsibilities** As a Software Developer, the selected individual will design and develop software solutions to support DHS programs and mission requirements.
