You'll own code that brings up boards, controls peripherals, moves sensor data, and keeps deployed systems running reliably. You'll work closely with electrical, RF, FPGA, and software engineers, taking systems from initial board bring-up through production and customer deployment. We're looking for someone who understands the hardware beneath their code and can diagnose problems at the bench and in the field. What You'll Do * Develop embedded firmware and software for microcontrollers and processors across our sensing products. * Bring up new boards, configure peripherals, and develop drivers alongside electrical engineers. * Implement sensor control, data acquisition, and communications between hardware and application software. * Build interfaces using protocols such as SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, and Ethernet. * Develop reliable startup, configuration, fault handling, and recovery behavior. * Implement firmware updates, diagnostics, and system health monitoring for deployed devices. * Debug issues involving interrupts, timing, memory, communications, and hardware interactions. * Optimize software for compute, memory, power, and latency requirements. * Build automated tests and tools for hardware validation, production testing, and field troubleshooting. * Document interfaces and system behavior, and use field feedback to improve reliability.
