## About the Role

* Basic knowledge of mechanical design, bolted joints, lug design, fastener fits, and tolerance stack analysis\n
 * Proficient with Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools and processes. Ability to generate 3D models of machined fittings, sheet metal components, and assemblies. (CATIA V5 preferred)\n
 * Ability to create and interpret product design documentation, including 2D drawings using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5\n
 * Basic understanding of typical manufacturing processes as it applies to the design of machined fittings and sheet metal components\n
 * Basic knowledge of Composite Materials and Processes\n
 * Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously\n
 * Effective problem identification and solution skills\n
