## About the Role

Must Have Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant exempt experience; Master's Degree and 0 year of relevant professional experience Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.

## Description

Key Responsibilities: * Support the implementation of systems engineering on active NNS programs across the systems lifecycle including requirements development and management, verification and validation, and systems architecting. * Support the development and refinement of systems engineering processes, frameworks, and best practices to be applied on future programs. * Collaborate with discipline engineering teams, program management, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer needs. * Drive the adoption and execution of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies across programs to enhance efficiency and decision making.
