## About the Role

* At least 6 months of commercial or industrial low voltage experience
 * Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred
 * BICSI, OSHA, and lift certifications are a plus
 * Must have basic hand tools and required PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots
 * Basic understanding of telecommunications and data network fundamentals
 * Ability to travel locally to job sites throughout the Ashburn, VA, and Northern Virginia area as needed

Responsibilities

 * Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cabling
 * Test installed cable using Fluke or similar certification testers
 * Punch down voice and data jacks
 * Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, and MDF/IDF infrastructure
 * Safely operate ladders and lifts; must be comfortable working at heights
 * Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and system layouts
 * Assist with the installation and support of access control, CCTV, audio/visual, and fiber optic systems
