## About the Role

* Masters degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
 * 12 years of experience in requirements engineering or systems engineering.
 * Experience with requirements management tools.
 * Active TS / SCI security clearance required, * Experience supporting DoD enterprise architecture, systems engineering, or digital modernization initiatives.
 * Hands-on experience with requirements management and traceability tools such as IBM DOORS, Jama, Jira, or Cameo.
 * Familiarity with DoDAF, MBSE, systems integration, and requirements traceability across complex multi-system environments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 * Ability to work on site 5 days a week
 * Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
 * Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
 * Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
 * Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
 * Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
 * Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
 * Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.
 * Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it

The Requirements and Traceability Lead manages requirements engineering activities, ensuring full traceability from mission requirements through system implementation.

Responsibilities

 * Work closely with the PM and Chief Architect to manage government timelines and deliverables.
 * Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document requirements and existing processes.
 * Develop requirements management environment and traceability processes to support informed architectural decisions.
 * Establish and sustain an authoritative enterprise architecture baseline.
 * Maintain requirements traceability matrices across systems and programs.
 * Conduct technical exchanges with stakeholders to assess feasibility and identify best-fit integration approaches aligned to approved architecture.
 * Ensure alignment between requirements and system capabilities.
 * Facilitate collaboration between technical teams and leadership.
 * Other duties as assigned
