 * Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).

 * Proficiency in using cybersecurity tools and technologies, including antivirus software, encryption tools, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
 * Ability to analyze security threats and vulnerabilities, assess risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
 * Strong problem-solving skills for effectively handling and resolving security incidents and breaches.
 * Meticulous attention to detail in monitoring systems, analyzing logs, and identifying potential security issues.
 * Ability to ensure the organization's security measures comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
 * Proficiency in creating and maintaining detailed security policies, procedures, and incident reports.
 * Ability to explain complex security concepts and issues to non-technical stakeholders and management.

## Description

* Install, configure, and maintain security software and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus programs, and encryption solutions.
 * Monitor systems to ensure they are updated and patched to protect against vulnerabilities.
 * Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats.
 * Implement and manage network security protocols, including VPNs, firewalls, and access control lists.
 * Investigate and respond to security breaches or incidents.
 * Conduct root cause analysis and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.
 * Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.
 * Manage user access controls, ensuring proper authentication and authorization.
 * Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and maintain access logs.
 * Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify weaknesses.
 * Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO/IEC 27001).
 * Prepare security reports.
 * Perform risk assessments to identify potential security threats.
 * Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
 * Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
 * Promote a culture of security within the organization.
