## About the Role

The opportunity is limited to self-starters with an advanced level of experience in managing and developing databases and capable of working independently in a fluid custom application development environment.
You will be an integral part of a selective professional IT team that directly supports the operational planning cycle to support mission success. **This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization in Fayetteville, NC. Selected candidate for hire** **MUST** **be able to work onsite.** **Responsibilities:** * Manage database objects, constraints, replication, and storage structures. * Expertise in SQL tuning and XML technologies. * Strong understanding of database schema, data modeling, and architecture. * Provide advice to the software development team and support application teams. * Analyze, design, build, test, and implement database solutions. **Qualifications:** **_Required:_** * Active TS/SCI clearance. * 8 years of progressive experience performing complex analysis, design, development, and modification to improve efficiency of Microsoft SQL and/or PostgreSQL databases in support of enterprise architecture. * Proficiency in administering and
deploying server equipment. * Strong communication skills. * Ability to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01. **_Desired:_** * Bachelor's degree and three additional years of general experience in the fields of database administration, intelligence systems architecture and geospatial systems experience are highly desirable. * Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) SQL Server certifications desired.
