## About the Role

**Job Description** BAE Systems is seeking an Applications Developer (Expert) to design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AngularJS. The ideal candidate will bring strong full-stack development experience, a commitment to software quality, and the ability to collaborate effectively within an Agile/Scrum environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications and services. + Develop secure, scalable, readable, and maintainable software. + Troubleshoot application defects and production issues and provide ongoing support. + Participate in technical design decisions, code reviews, testing, and software releases. + Collaborate with customers, product owners, Scrum Masters, QA engineers, and development teams to clarify requirements and deliver solutions. + Support and enhance existing applications, including legacy systems. + Maintain accurate technical documentation. **Agile/Scrum:**

 + Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. + Collaborate with product owners and team members to define, estimate, and deliver user stories. + Contribute to continuous improvement and alignment with product goals. **Code Quality & Operations:** + Follow established coding standards and software development best practices. + Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability. + Assist with cloud deployments, including AWS environments. + Monitor application performance and provide production support. **Key Qualifications:** + Senior-level (8 years' experience) developing full-stack enterprise applications. + Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and AngularJS. + Experience with RESTful services, unit/integration testing, and enterprise application development. + Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. + Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. +
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience in software development or technical roles. + Proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework. + Understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum. + Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. + Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Master's Degree in related discipline. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
