## Description

Ascension Property Services, based in Palo Alto, CA, seeks a Journeyman Electrician to support advanced IT and software facilities. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems powering data centers, servers, networking gear, and office tech. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing panel and circuit work, ensuring code compliance, and coordinating with IT and software teams to minimize downtime. You'll diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and support infrastructure upgrades. Responsibilities

 * Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for data centers and IT facilities
 * Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and panel schedules
 * Ensure all electrical work meets NEC, state, and local code requirements
 * Troubleshoot circuits, panels, and equipment supporting servers and networking gear
 * Perform preventive maintenance on critical power and lighting systems
 * Collaborate with IT and software teams to schedule and execute electrical work
 * Support electrical infrastructure upgrades and expansions for new tech deployments
 * Maintain accurate logs, inspections, and compliance documentation
 * Follow safety protocols and conduct routine safety checks
 * Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed on electrical projects
