## About the Role

This role is suited for a hands-on engineer with strong operational experience, sound judgment in regulated environments, and the ability to turn manual operational work into safe, repeatable runbooks. **Responsibilities** **Responsibilities** + Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate modern, cloud-native, AI-first platform services + Partner with SREs, release managers, security/compliance owners, backend/database teams, and support escalation teams to drive safe operational outcomes. + Define configuration and implementation best practices + Specify, design, and implement changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. + Provide technical leadership to other software developers. + Work across teams to engineer the best system (for operations and customers) regardless of organizational boundaries or ownership. + Scale our systems by building tooling and automation. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field + 8+ years
of experience in engineering, application development or related field or equivalent experience + Demonstrated ability to write code in Java or similar OO languages + Experience building automated and AI-first solutions + Proficient with data structures, algorithms, operating systems. + Experience with distributed systems: familiarity with CAP theorem, Consensus, messaging, High Availability etc. + Strong collaboration and communication skills + Experience operating production systems with change management, incident management, runbooks, approvals, audit/evidence, and security controls. + Strong written and verbal communication skills during incidents, maintenance windows, and cross-team handoffs. **Preferred Qualifications** + Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. + Experience working in a large cloud or Internet software company. + Windows/Citrix experience + Experience in building out new cloud products, specifically security and network related. +
