## About the Role

* 5+ years of hands-on Java backend development
 * Strong experience with Spring / Spring Boot / Spring MVC
 * Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and web services
 * Experience with J2EE/Java enterprise applications
 * Experience developing or supporting high-volume applications
 * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
 * Ability to work across technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve application issues
 * Experience working in an Agile environment
 * Experience with Groovy
 * Experience with Splunk, SOAP UI, and Toad
 * Experience with JVM performance tuning and JVM internals
 * Banking or financial services experience
 * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

## Description

We are looking for an experienced Backend Java Developer to support the development and enhancement of Online Banking applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Java backend development experience, deep experience with Spring/Spring Boot, and a strong background building and integrating RESTful APIs and web services. This person will also participate in technical troubleshooting and production triage, partnering with other development teams to identify and resolve issues.
