The As-Designed, As-Built report (ADAB) is a part of the acceptance data and certification data packages. This report comes from the program's efforts to perform configuration status accounting (CSA) and ensures that what we delivered to the customer, was what was agreed upon in the design. As a systems engineer your responsibilities revolve around managing the delivery plans, tracking a variety of metrics, ensuring smooth and constant communication among relevant teams, and understanding the depth of our requirements to ensure that each deliverable is acceptable. The information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
