* You have 5+ years of professional experience with Rust, Go, or C++. You understand how to write code that respects CPU and memory constraints.
 * You are comfortable with the Linux networking stack. You know your way around TCP/IP, TLS, and WebSockets.
 * You dont just use databases; you understand how they work. Youre familiar with connection lifecycles, transaction states, and wire protocols.
 * You enjoy the challenge of debugging complex, distributed systems and building for "five nines" reliability., * Experience with PgBouncer, ProxySQL, or custom database middleware.
 * Familiarity with the Cloudflare Workers ecosystem and the unique stateful connection challenges of ephemeral computing.
 * Youve contributed to database drivers, ORMs, or low-level networking libraries.
 * Experience using eBPF, perf, or other profiling tools to find and kill bottlenecks.

By eliminating the massive latency overhead of TCP, TLS, and database-specific handshakes, Hyperdrive allows developers to use the databases they already know and lovelike PostgreSQL and MySQLwithout the "cold start" performance penalties typically associated with serverless environments., Hyperdrive is integrated directly into the Cloudflare global network and features:
