## Description

We are seeking a strong Java Developer immediately in a remote role in Seattle, Washington. This role supports the CCS modernization effort by upgrading existing Java components from Java 8 to Java 11+, refactoring affected code, and ensuring smooth integration with upgraded Documentum and Web Methods components. The developer will partner with Kiro to accelerate analysis, refactoring, and modernization activities.

What You'll Do

 * Upgrade CCS Java services from Java 8 to Java 11+
 * Refactor code impacted by deprecated/removed APIs, library updates, and new Java features
 * Redesign and validate Java integrations with the new Documentum environment
 * Collaborate with WebMethods developers to ensure seamless endtoend communication
 * Use Kiro to accelerate:
 * Codebase analysis
 * Automated refactoring proposals
 * Test generation and gap identification
 * Review and validate AIgenerated refactorings and recommendations
 * Participate in code reviews, CI/CD improvements, and automated testing
