The core of this role is endpoint management, security optimization, and automation - designing Intune policies, managing the M365 security and compliance stack, scripting onboarding/offboarding workflows, and keeping client environments tight and standardized. You'll also handle client support requests as they come in - our ticket volume is low and our clients mostly have internal IT, so we're there to support systems and keep networks running. This isn't a help desk job with "room to grow." This is an engineering role with client-facing communication as part of the work. What You'll Be Doing: - Building and managing endpoint policies in Microsoft Intune and Autopilot - Managing and optimizing the security and compliance stack - Kaseya 365, SaaS Alerts, Secure Score hardening, conditional access, DLP, and M365 tenant configuration - Proactively reviewing client environments for security gaps, policy drift, and optimization opportunities - Scripting and automating repeatable processes - onboarding, offboarding, monitoring, remediation - using PowerShell and Rewst - Supporting and maintaining client infrastructure across Windows Server, M365, networking, and virtual desktop environments - Supporting Citrix and VDI deployments - session management, profile optimization, and troubleshooting - Handling client support requests via phone, email, and remote tools when they come in - Documenting systems, processes, and client environments - Collaborating directly with the founder on projects, architecture decisions, and client strategy
