## About the Role

* Active TS security clearance. (must be eligible for SCI)
 * 5+ years of network engineering experience.
 * Strong hands-on Cisco routing and switching experience.
 * Experience implementing, validating, and remediating DISA STIGs.
 * Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking certification.
 * Security+ CE or equivalent security certification.
 * Proficiency with BGP, EIGRP, STP, DMVPN, GRE, and VPN technologies.
 * Experience configuring and troubleshooting network security devices.

## Description

Our client, a major federal systems integrator located in Colorado Springs, CO, is looking to hire a Network Engineer for a 12-month, on-site contract supporting mission-critical DoD network infrastructure at Peterson Air Force Base. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching, DISA STIG compliance, network security, and secure communications., * Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

 * Implement and maintain DISA STIG compliance across network infrastructure.
 * Manage network security policies, routing protocols, and encryption devices.
 * Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and security issues.
 * Support network upgrades, high availability, and infrastructure documentation.
