## About the Role

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience, Typical education and related/relevant work experience required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, or other related science, engineering or technical degree and at least four years of related/relevant work experience OR at least eight years of SSBN SWS experience in lieu of a degree.

## Description

BAE Systems is seeking a Test Engineer to support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system. Accuracy, integrity, subject matter expertise, and the ability to work well independently and with others are important traits we expect the successful candidate to possess and demonstrate.
This position is responsible for:

 * Understanding system interfaces and developing test requirements, test plans, test procedures, and evaluation techniques to support system integration and requirements verification
 * Understanding interface design documents and deriving test tolerances and test methodologies
 * Supporting on-site System-Level Testing, data collection, data analysis, and documentation
 * Tracking and solving test anomalies and preparing associated test analysis reports
 * Support the development and testing of analysis software used during on-site System-Level Testing
 * Working collaboratively in a team setting with other engineering team members
