## About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join an established, technology-driven organisation and take ownership of its Microsoft data platform.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with Microsoft Fabric, SQL and Power BI, developing data pipelines, integrating business systems and delivering reliable data solutions to support reporting and business intelligence., * Strong Data Engineering experience with Microsoft Fabric.

 * Excellent SQL skills and experience with ETL/ELT processes.
 * Experience with data modelling, integration and API connectivity.
 * Understanding of data governance, security and data quality.
 * Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable:

 * Power BI, DAX and semantic modelling.
 * SAP integration experience.
 * Python or PowerShell scripting.
 * Microsoft certifications.

## Description

* Design, build and maintain Microsoft Fabric Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Pipelines and Semantic Models.
 * Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating SQL, SAP and other business systems.
 * Manage data quality, governance, security and performance.
 * Develop and support Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
 * Support SQL databases, including troubleshooting, migration and optimisation.
 * Work with stakeholders to deliver scalable data and analytics solutions.
