## About the Role

* 4+ years of experience developing and supporting Java applications using Spring Boot and REST integrations.
 * Hands-on experience integrating with or developing applications on the Pega platform.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with PostgreSQL.
 * Familiarity with Amazon ECS/Fargate.
 * Experience working within AWS GovCloud environments.
 * Active Secret security clearance.

## Description

The Software Engineer will support the integration and sustainment of Java Spring Boot applications with a Pega-based status tracking system, ensuring seamless functionality while maintaining the reliability of existing applications., * Maintain the API gateway integration between a Java Spring Boot application and a Pega-based status tracker.

 * Troubleshoot and resolve defects across Java and Pega integration boundaries.
 * Identify, diagnose, and resolve application defects to ensure continued system functionality.
 * Apply software patches and updates in accordance with the customer's established release calendar.
 * Maintain accurate and current operational runbooks to support application sustainment.
