## About the Role

 * Student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences in one of the preferred fields: Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Natural Sciences or related field.
 * Programming skills: Python (required) or TypeScript; Groovy or JavaScript a plus.
 * Interest in Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and cloud technologies.
 * Basic understanding of APIs, REST, and integration concepts.
 * Language skills: Fluent German and very good English (written and verbal). Additional languages on a conversational level (at least B2) are a plus.
 * Self-driven, curious mindset and ability to work independently.

## Description

You'll work on real deliverables, not shadow tasks. Your contributions connect directly to your team's goals. You'll leave with a portfolio of SAP work you can build on.

In your role you will work on various tasks:

 * Support our team in building and evaluating AI-powered integration scenarios using SAP Integration Suite and SAP AI Core / SAP Gen AI Hub.
 * Develop and test integration flows that leverage generative AI - including intelligent document processing, AI-assisted iFlow generation (Joule), and AI-driven data mapping.
 * Research and prototype agentic AI use cases combining SAP Business AI Platform with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI agent frameworks.
 * Assist in API management tasks: configure API proxies, analyse governance patterns, and document best practices.
 * Contribute to internal enablement materials, customer demos, and best-practice documentation for AI integration topics.

Collaborate with senior consultants and directly support customer engagements across the full integration lifecycle., As a working student you will be part of SAP Next Gen, a global network of students and early professionals growing together. We are part of the GDH Global Delivery Hub, within the Practice BAIP Integration Modernization Services - a team of Cloud Integration Architects helping customers succeed on SAP Business AI Platform.

Our team works at the intersection of AI and enterprise integration: from PI/PO migrations and SAP Integration Suite modernization to agentic AI architectures and governed API layers.

We operate across Germany and Europe, combining deep technical expertise with a passion for innovation, clean architecture, and AI-driven automation.

You will work alongside experienced architects, shape real customer outcomes, and build skills that matter in the AI era.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
