## About the Role

* Must hold an active in scope TOP SECRET clearance or have the ability to obtain Interim TOP SECRET eligibility prior to start. (US Citizenship required)\n
 * Must hold a bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of equivalent experience, or a master's degree and 6 years of experience.\n
 * Must hold current DOD 8570 IAT II certification (Linux+, CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) prior to start.\n
 * Communicates effectively both orally and in a written form with users and office staff\n
 * Demonstrated Linux expertise managing bare metal and virtualized systems\n
 * Hands on experience patching, managing, and responding to DoW STIGs including POAM remediations\n
 * Experience supporting and working with ISSO's and ISSM's\n

 * Proficient in Ansible or equivalent configuration management experience\n, * Proficiency in Linux storage subsystems\n
 * Experience managing RedHat Satellite systems\n
 * Experience managing containerized services within Kubernetes\n
 * Ability to write, diagnose, and optimize scripts written in bash, python, or perl\n
 * Familiarity managing virtual systems within VMware\n
 * Windows Server and workstation experience\n

* Monitor log files, performance issues, and the production environment for mission critical systems\n
 * Demonstrate ability to set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines\n
 * Ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines\n
