## Description

The Senior Data Engineer Designs, builds, and maintains data processing architectures and solutions enabling the efficient conversion of structured and unstructured data to insights at enterprise scale. The Senior Data Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes supporting enterprise data and analytics needs.

 * Build and optimize data models, curated datasets, and data products for reporting, operational analytics, and advanced analytical use cases.
 * Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
 * Establish and promote best practices for data quality, testing, monitoring, documentation, lineage, and governance.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues while ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability of data platforms.
 * Contribute to data platform modernization initiatives, including cloud-based architectures and engineering automation.
 * Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture planning.
 * Mentor and support other engineers while helping drive engineering excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
