## About the Role

You're a technically strong, collaborative leader who can translate complex mission needs into practical engineering solutions while guiding a team toward successful delivery. You also meet the following qualifications:\n
\n
\n

 * BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field and 12 or more years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 or more years of prior relevant experience.\n

\n
\n

 * Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.\n
 * Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting Kubernetes in a production environment, including cluster lifecycle management, upgrades, configuration, namespace/tenant management, resource quotas, limits, and capacity planning, role-based access control (RBAC), and troubleshooting workload, networking, scheduling, performance, and availability issues.\n
 * Demonstrated experience operating shared platform services such as Elastic and Redis in production, including version management, configuration, scaling, monitoring, high availability, backup/recovery, and incident response.\n
 * Experience implementing and maintaining platform security and hardening practices, including least-privilege access, vulnerability remediation, secure configuration baselines, encryption, audit logging, and secrets management.\n
 * Experience with observability practices and tooling, including metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerting, SLOs/SLIs, capacity monitoring, and root-cause analysis.\n
 * Strong knowledge of Linux-based application hosting, containers, container images, networking fundamentals, DNS, TLS/certificates, and storage concepts.\n
 * Experience using infrastructure/platform automation and configuration management tools, such as Cloudformation, Helm, Salt, Ansible, or equivalent.\n
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate platform risks, tradeoffs, capacity concerns, and investment needs for technical and nontechnical stakeholders.\n
 * Experience serving as a Devops, Platform, or Shared Services Technical Lead, lead Systems Engineer, or similar role.\n
 * Experience working in an Agile program, especially SAFe Agile.\n, * Experience with AI algorithmically driven processing systems \n
 * Cloud infrastructure experience \n
 * Experience with Appian or other low-code software technologies \n
 * Experience with any of the following technologies: \n
\n

 + PostgreSQL \n
 + DevOps practices and tools including Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and practices, especially Gitlab or Jenkins \n
 + Keycloak \n
\n

 * Hands-on development and/or scripting experience, especially Java, Python, .NET\n
 * Experience interacting with or administering MSSQL Server databases or other relational databases\n
