## About the Role

* Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or AWS/Azure with a willingness to specialise in GCP.
 * Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure.
 * Programming experience with Go and/or Python.
 * Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
 * Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation and infrastructure testing.
 * Understanding of cloud architecture, security, monitoring and operational best practices.
 * Strong problem-solving skills and experience working within Agile engineering teams.

Desirable Skills

 * Experience with cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, IPAM, load balancing, DNS and private connectivity.
 * Experience developing or maintaining automated cloud infrastructure provisioning platforms.
 * Previous experience within financial services, banking or another highly regulated environment.
 * Understanding of security controls, compliance and audit requirements within enterprise cloud environments.

## Description

* Design, develop and maintain cloud networking services and automated infrastructure provisioning solutions.
 * Develop, review and maintain production code using Go, Python or other relevant programming languages.
 * Contribute to system design and architecture, ensuring solutions meet security, scalability and operational requirements.
 * Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
 * Develop and improve automation, CI/CD pipelines and testing processes.
 * Support Kubernetes environments and cloud-native platform services.
 * Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot production issues and contribute to incident management and root-cause analysis.
 * Work closely with engineering teams to improve code quality, observability and infrastructure reliability.
