## About the Role

* Requires bachelor's degree (orinternational equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevantexperience or 9-12 years of relevant workexperience
 * Must be able to legally work and remain in the United States without sponsorship., + 5+ years of experience with standard Deskside hardware and operating systems including system architectures, network infrastructures, client server principles, backup, recovery, and storage policies and procedures, and planning and implementing disaster prevention and recovery.
 + 5+ years of experience identifying, tracking and resolving problems using comprehensive techniques and methods of troubleshooting end-user problems.
 + Knowledge of SNOW IT asset management systems.
 + 5+ years of experience with hardware and operating systems including system architectures, network infrastructures, client server principles, backup, recovery, and storage policies and procedures, and planning and implementing disaster prevention and recovery.
 + 5+ years of experience identifying, tracking and resolving problems using comprehensive techniques and methods of troubleshooting end-user problems.
 + Comprehensive knowledge of process design and techniques, project management processes and tools (e.g. project scheduling, budgeting, status reporting).
 + Experience with the planning, coordination and execution of IT plans associated with EPC projects.
 + 5+ years of experience assisting with the development and execution of IT plans associated with key business initiatives.
 + Experience with Microsoft Windows networks and tools, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Group Policy, DNS, DFS, and network monitoring tools.
 + Experience configuring and supporting Cisco networking equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, and related network infrastructure.
 + Knowledge of telecommunications solutions, including UHF plant radio systems, Sonim PTT, microwave and satellite transport, Cisco enterprise network equipment, CCTV, optical fiber systems, and related field technologies.
Preferred Qualifications

 + A+ Certification
 + CompTIA Security and Network Plus
 + Cisco Network Administration (CNA)

## Description

The Field IT Tech performs work that requires the application of a significant range of fundamentals of information technology principles in a variety of contexts while demonstrating strong technical abilities in areas including; computer hardware support, network/telecommunications, information security, and overall IT infrastructure operations.
Major Responsibilities:

 * The IS&T Technician will report to the Project IS&T Supervisor. This individual is responsible for performing the following, but is not limited to:
 + Deskside and mobile deployment and IT support.
 + Setting up and managing networks.
 + Setting up and managing servers.
 + Mobilize the Bechtel team into temporary offices during early mobilization.
 + Set up Bechtel network and IT infrastructure for the jobsite and IR facilities.
 + Plan and implement IT equipment and services as the project progresses.
 + Coordination with procurement and vendors.
 + Coordination with IS&T Service Center, Vendors, and Bechtel Support teams.
 + Asset Management and call management using Service Now product.
 + Maintains a strong attention to detail and ability to concentrate in a distracted environment.
 + Security - Application of Bechtel standards and policies.
 + Individual must possess strong suite of interpersonal skills required for working with a diverse workforce
