## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
 * Certification in architecture or cloud certifications (eg, TOGAF, Azure) would be beneficial
 * Strong domain experience working in financial services or pension industry
 * Proven solution design expertise across applications, APIs, data, integration, infrastructure, security, and hybrid cloud architecture
 * Demonstrate solid knowledge of architectural principles, design patterns, and enterprise governance practices
 * such as .NET, Python/Django, C, C++, relational databases (Oracle/Postgresql/Azure SQL), PL/SQL, and React
 * Comfortable working across a broad technology landscape, including modern engineering practices, cloud platforms, and Legacy environments
 * Practical experience or strong awareness of AI-enabled architectures, including embedding GenAI/ML capabilities into enterprise solutions with appropriate governance and controls
 * Experience in aligning AI-enabled solutions with compliance, audit, and data protection requirements

## Description

* Design and oversee end-to-end solutions across applications, data, integration, infrastructure, and emerging capabilities such as AI
 * Produce and maintain high-level and detailed solution design artefacts
 * Strong awareness of cyber security principles (secure-by-design, Zero Trust)
 * Ensure consistency and reuse across solutions and platforms
 * Apply systems thinking to manage dependencies, integrations, and data flows
 * Apply and contribute to architecture principles, standards, patterns, and frameworks
 * Ensure adherence to enterprise standards, security policies, and compliance requirements
 * Participate in solution design reviews and governance forums
 * Review and assure solutions for quality, consistency, and fitness for purpose
 * Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
 * Awareness of AI/ML integration and governance considerations
