You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

The Payments team owns the core transaction platform that processes billions of dollars in volume, serving hundreds of thousands of small and mid-sized businesses globally. We are constructing a highly reliable, low-latency transaction engine that guarantees correctness in every swipe, dip, tap, and click

What you will do:

 * Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Clover's business goals.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
 * Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
 * Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
 * Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

 * Participate in an on-call rotation to troubleshoot critical backend incidents, resolve API and microservice degradation, and ensure high availability of server-side infrastructure.
