The degree of telecommuting availability varies with each position and customer.
Schedule is predominantly a standard workday but at times flexibility may be required to support a surge effort or event.
Some travel may be required. **Infrastructure Engineer Responsibility Include:** + Provide Software and Software Infrastructure support to Navy Projects in an Agile environment. + Perform trade studies to identify direction on infrastructure improvements. + Leverage MBSE and IBM DOORS for the cataloging of information. **Minimum Requirements:** + 0 to 3 years of experience with C, C++, and/or Assembly + Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance.
Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Secret Clearance. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Embedded Systems Development + OS skills + MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering) and modeling + DOORS (Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System) + Docker + Trade Studies **Compensation Details:** US: 80,000 to $120,000 The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.

## Description

Amentum is seeking systems engineering professionals with related education and/or experience to support systems and software development in support of the Navy and Marine Corps at Dahlgren, VA and Quantico, VA. You will be part of our growing systems & software engineering team and contribute to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts in support of our Centers of Excellence.
