## About the Role

Strong commercial experience with Scala and functional programming is essential. Experience developing microservices, working with the Play Framework, building APIs and supporting production services is highly desirable.

## Description

You'll join a live services engineering team, developing and supporting Scala-based microservices and APIs while contributing to technology projects., * Design, develop and enhance Scala-based microservices.

 * Build clean, efficient and testable Back End services and APIs.
 * Work with the Play Framework and functional programming principles.
 * Collaborate with developers, testers and product teams in an Agile environment.
 * Support live production services, troubleshoot issues and maintain service reliability.
 * Contribute to code quality, testing and continuous improvement.
