## About the Role

Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by a college-level degree in computer science or a related field and three years of experience in the installation configuration, maintenance and repair of computer systems, networks, peripherals and related equipment. Licenses and Other Requirements: Valid California driver's license and proof of current California auto liability insurance at time of appointment, and throughout employment in this classification. Personal automobile for job-related travel. CCNA and/or MCSE preferred.

## Description

Under the direction of the Director of Information Technology, coordinate, monitor and provide a variety of specialized services in the installation configuration, operation, repair and maintenance of network servers, routers, firewalls and switches and related equipment; coordinate, monitor and resolve daily work order requests and assign tasks to staff as required; provide technical guidance and support to end-users district wide; assure proper network security; oversee and perform data mapping and warehousing functions.
