 * Strong production experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code.
 * Strong Python, SQL and Spark knowledge.
 * Experience designing and building complete Azure data platform solutions.
 * Good understanding of Azure storage, networking, security and identity management.
 * Experience monitoring and troubleshooting production data platforms.

Nice to Have

 * Azure DevOps and CI/CD experience.
 * Experience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments.

## Description

Location: Fully remote from Spain and Portugal

Duration: 12 months initially

We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure Data Platform Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable data platform solutions within a Microsoft Azure environment.

This position combines hands-on data engineering with platform infrastructure, automation, security, monitoring and performance optimisation.

What You'll Be Doing

 * Design and implement scalable Azure data platform solutions.
 * Build and maintain solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
 * Automate cloud infrastructure and platform deployments using Terraform.
 * Configure and optimise cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.
 * Support Azure networking, security, access management and platform availability.
 * Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise platform performance.
 * Work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions.
 * Follow Agile, DevOps, security and compliance best practices.
