This is a cross-functional role that requires both direct management of a program management team and coordination between many different groups primarily within Tesla. You will manage this team to implement large manufacturing engineering projects from design through install, commissioning, production start and ramp. You will use your engineering background to understand the product requirements, technical risks, and validation strategy to accelerate the solutions generation and deployment process. You will communicate and present project status, highlight schedule risk, and develop recovery plans in the event of a project slip. You will interface across engineering disciplines within Cell Manufacturing, as well as Production Engineering and Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Factory Design, Construction to drive deployment plans of new internal manufacturing processes and equipment in our innovative Electrode area.
