## About the Role

* 4+ years Data Governance or Data Management or Data Stewardship experience within a global CPG (Consumer Packaged Good) company or similar industry, general understanding of data governance concepts and processes
 * Strong data management background who understands data, how to ingestdata, proper data use/consumption, data quality, and stewardship.
 * Functional and/or Data Management Experience in SAP (ECC or S/4HANA required) in one or more of the areas listed below:
 * Materials Management (MM)
 * Vendor and Customer Management
 * Ability to partner with both business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of operational information and execution of enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures are defined and implemented.
 * Basic SQL knowledge and experience working with Visualization BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc).
 * Advanced data analytical skills, including identification, interpretation and documentation of data patterns, standards, and quality rules
 * Strong communication skills and Excel proficiency, including experience profiling with Excel
 * Experience researching, validating, profiling and cataloging datasets
 * Ability to own sub-tasks of a project with little supervision.
 * Excellent written and oral communication
