## About the Role

* 7+ years of enterprise database administration and production support experience.
 * Strong hands-on experience with Oracle DBA and/or other enterprise databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
 * Expertise in SQL performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
 * Strong knowledge of High Availability (HA), replication, backup/recovery, and Disaster Recovery (DR).
 * Experience with cloud or distributed databases such as AWS Aurora, Google Cloud Spanner, or YugabyteDB.
 * Proficiency in Linux/Unix, Shell scripting, and Python automation.
 * Experience with database monitoring, patching, security, and capacity management.
 * Ability to manage critical production incidents and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

 * Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, RMAN, AWR, and ASH.
 * DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and database automation.
 * Monitoring tools such as OEM and Grafana.
 * Experience with intelligent monitoring and AI-assisted incident automation.
