## About the Role

* Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
 * U.S Citizenship required
 * Associate degree
 * Or a High School diploma with 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
 * Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
 * Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
 * Familiarity with Active Directory (AD) principals Education
 * Must possess excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
 * Ability to read and follow documented processes and procedures

Additional desired experience and skills:

 * CompTIA Security+ Certification (preferred)
 * Secret clearance (Preferred)

Experience with Ticketing systems; Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and SolarWinds Web Helpdesk

Serco Inc. is seeking a Network and Systems Surveillance Technician to join our team - (100% Remote) . This position is shift work Thursday-Monday; working hours will be from 10pm - 6am MST

This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain/maintain/transfer a DoD Secret security clearance

In this role you will:

 * Provide tactical response for the monitoring and coordination of outage response and triage for all Tier I inputs to include network and system monitoring as well as communication & coordination during outage or maintenance scenarios.
 * Be responsible for providing real time operations support during major incidents as well as triage, validation, and escalation of any actual or potential network/system issues.
 * Ability to follow established guidelines, policies and procedures
 * Effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills
